We want to express out sincere sympathy to all of you.  We recently saw Ann and she told us of his illness.  Please know we will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
Erica (Johnson) Phelps Such a good guy February 6, 2011

Growing up, Jim was one of our close friends of the family.  We met him through my sis Lisa. I later worked with Jim at G&D.  He was such a great guy.  I will never forget when he took me to Farm Aid.  My dad thought alot of him, too! They will meet again.  My thoughts & prayers go out to the family for your loss.

I send my love and prayers to you, Ann, and all your family.  I have not seen Ann since our days at Kelly Avenue, but I do remember you and all your children.  I can't imagine losing a child, and my heart goes out to you.  God bless you.

Miki My Teacher of Life and Arts February 5, 2011
You taught me many things.... including the err of my ways, in our years together.. Amongst your search for knowledge and roots in the Native American culture and ceremonies, I learned how to live and love peacefully, not in emotional turmoil from my mistakes. You had many admirable qualities, and you helped me in many ways. I will not forget, though I cannot breath when I think of your loss-your steadfastness in the right way of things. I'm deeply saddened with the loss of such a fine human being. As before, and as always... "I Love You". Ann, Cathy, Cyn, Jeff and all.... If you need anything to help in your time of mourning.... please, contact me via email: miki_schultz@yahoo.com My heart goes out to you all!
Pat (Hughes) Otto Sending Prayers February 5, 2011
I was Jim's art teacher for some (most?) of his years at Peoria-Heights High, and am saddened to learn of his illness and passing.  I remember him as such a kind, gentle soul and a very talented artist.  He always had a smile to give to whoever needed it.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, with the hope that the great memories that I'm sure they have of Jim will be a comfort in the coming months.
Lori Croft Collins With a heavy heart... February 5, 2011
I am so saddened to hear of Jim's passing.  He was such a kind and gentle soul.  Having him as a dear friend in high school, was such a blessing.  He never had a mean word to say, and would always give you a smile.  Life was a little sweeter with him in it.  Our prayers go out to his family.  God bless you all.  RIP Jim.  You are loved and will be missed dearly.
